Parish School

OLV is a learning centred school where children are taught to respect God, others and the environment each and every day. Our children are actively involved learners, thinkers, communicators and self-managers who strive for excellence!

Our school is a Decile 6 Catholic Primary school with a maximum roll of around 272.

Our primary aim is to provide a caring Catholic learning environment which invites children to have a personal faith in Christ. We work closely with our local parish, Our Lady of Victories and the Catholic Education Office.

Our Lady of Victories School prides itself on quality education in an environment that lives the ‘Mercy Values’ of excellence, respect, service, social justice and sustainability in truth and action.

When our school was opened in 1956, the Bishop invited the Sisters of Mercy to staff it. Our children are taught one Mercy value per term which come from Venerable Mother Catherine McAuley. Our OLV Mercy values are: Respect, Service, Social Justice, Excellence and Sustainability.
